Twilight I, Tahoe is the first in a series of photographs in early 2011 after David gave up his home in Vancouver, moved into a 1983 Land Rover Defender and began traveling around the continent looking for beauty. Much of his work from early 2011, until he fell off a wall in Pisa, Italy, fracturing both feet and cracking his pelvis, was made during blue hour.
Twilight I, Tahoe was photographed near Emerald Bay, just north of South Lake Tahoe, California
The Twilight series is the first of David’s work to be offered publicly in over a year and will be limited to a series of only 2 or 3 photographs, all in very small editions of 50 prints.
