Reviews and Comments
  1. Making Light 2 is a great follow up to the first book. Combined with the first volume this makes for a must-read for anyone wanting to start learning off-camera flash control, or want to keep learning. There are no magic formulas to this, and the author’s opinion and experience are just that, his. But it does give you a great foundation to continue to learn from and build a lighting kit and techniques that suit your style. At $8 for the bundle of both books, the value here is crazy!
I also have a more detailed review on my blog for those who are interested:

  2. What a great value. The breakdown of the lighting elements, the behind the scenes shots and lighting diagrams combined with multiple variations of the same image make learning very easy and effective.

The cost of this eBook may be the least expensive and most useful piece of gear you own if you are a Strobist.

  3. Piet Van Den Eynde comes back with the second part of “Making Light” – and shows some more advanced lighting techniques and use of more flashes. Wouldn’t you love to be able to “overpower the sun”, and create beautiful light or even sunset in the middle of the day? After reading “Making Light” you should be able to do it easily.
